This afternoon Room 2 added the feathers that they cut out yesterday to some straw bird bones ('cause bird bones are hollow). Sorry, too busy selotaping to take any pickies. We will fly them next week. Please check with your child that they have got one in their chair bags, and if not please grab some straws and cut out feathers so's they can complete them over the weekend.
Prior to this we discussed the sacrament of baptism, and the four symbols thereof.
Oil, Water, Candle, White Garment
The Italian accents? No particular reason, just seemed like a good idea at the time!
Some of the children were then able to come up and share recollections of their own baptism with us.
Earlier this morning we had one of our final lessons on narratives.
A narrative has a title, an introduction with when, who, where, what, it has a complication, some action and a resolution where it all gets fixed.Next week we will be writing a narrative writing sample for the portfolios...and summative assessment.
Think TEST!
On that note, have a lovely evening, and I'll CU all in the morning.
Mr Grant
