This afternoon, just before we went out for some P.E...


...we learnt a new song during J Team singing. Well, two actually, one that Room 2 learnt yesterday and lead the rest of the J Team with today...

Covered in mustard
Pizza three days old,
Green deli ham
With blackberry jam
Stuck to the sides of my bowl.
I get their jelly on toast and
Last week’s roast
With a slimy ice cream cone,
All mixed in and
Slopped in a tin –
I think I’ll find my bone!

I’ve tried to whine and bark
At supermarket time
(A slice of dog-roll
Would be absolutely fine).
And even when they buy a tin,
By Wednesday there is nothing in,
So I am “priviledged”
To eat what’s rescued from the fridge.
They give me …

Mouldy, spongy foam.
It tastes like pureed fruit through an old gumboot.
