Father's Friday

Good afternoon,

This morning the Room 2 Interchange Maths class was visited by Father Kevin, who talked to the children about the sacrament of Baptism.

I didn't know this, but the Holy Oil that the priests use is olive oil that has been blessed by the Bishop.

Seeing as it was a bit of a cold old morning tea time, the children ate inside, under the watchful eye of Ashley...

...before a bit of Jump Jam.

After lunch we unexpectedly trotted to the library, seeing as we didn't have assembly.

We were joined there by Room 4.

And a good time was had by all.

Have a great weekend,

Mr Grant. And Galoop.

Oh, the indignity! :-)

Thursday's Just Flown By...

Good afternoon,

This afternoon, after a bit of R.E., where we discussed how baptism is a form of welcome...into the church, that is...and how we welcome others...

...and the significance of our Christian/Baptismal names...

...Room 2 flew the birds that they made at the end of last week.

And a good time was had by all.

Thank you to those of you who were able to help out yesterday, 'twas much appreciated.

Tomorrow is, well, Tuesday. For the morning, anyway. We will be following Tuesday morning's programme, instead of the normal Friday morning programme. Which will mean that we will be having Maths instead of Housekeeping, and Reading instead of Library.

We're switching back to Friday after lunch.

CU in the morning,

Mr Grant
