I was on release again today, to sort out the music for the production, so Mrs O'Neill was back in the room (yay!) to teach the children how to make Cliffords...


...to guide Room 2 to take assembly...



...and supervised our Friday afternoon free time.

...and that was it! Or so the evidence would suggest. In reality, we also did all kinds of other stuff, including practicing our production songs...

THE FROG KING

This morning kicked off with a visit from Clifford the Big Red Dog during Maths.



Which reminds me - Friday next week is Come to School as Your Favourite Book Character Friday. I need to find a book that will allow me to come to school in my flight suit again!

We also discussed how to be a good friend...

I was on CRT today, but it looks like Room 2 had a blast in my absence!

Good afternoon,

I have some sad news to start this afternoon's post. Rat had to be put down this morning. The lump that I thought was just a large abscess on his undercarriage was discovered to be a tumor by the vet this morning, and Rat was put down before things got worse.

He will be missed.

On a lighter note, we kicked off the day with a new shared book Dad's Snore...


...demonstrated some ways of being a good friend...



...and ended the day with our first look at our Production pieces.
