Flight Wednesday

Good afternoon,

This afternoon Room 2 trotted over to the hall to fly Mr Grant's planes. Unfortunately, they didn't fly quite as well as he'd hoped. Still, it was a good opportunity to have a [very quick] discussion about lift...



Earlier in the day, Red Reading Group finished acting/photographing yesterday's book, Pets, while, for writing we discussed how next week's summative assessment will work.


Next week, the children will be supplied with a picture, and will have to write a narrative story about it (much like the one above that we did as a class this morning). Remember...

A few reminders for our excursion to the Air Force Museum;
The children are to wear their sports uniform. They will be taking their morning tea and lunch with them and we ask that these come in a named plastic bag rather than a lunch box. This is for ease of transporting.
