Boat Safety Friday

Good afternoon,

And a glorious afternoon it is too. Summer is here!

This morning, after morning tea...

...Room 2 hopped into life jackets...

...into a boat...

...and then straight back out!

And then a wee song back to school.

Have a great weekend,

Mr Grant

A Prayer for Teachers At The End of the Year

Good evening,

I'm on prayers for our admin meeting in the morning, so I whipped up/found and adapted this...

Mr Grant

Good afternoon,

This morning for during swimming the children learnt how to fall over backwards...

...as well as jump in forwards like.

When we got back, Green Reading Group, with the help of some members of Blue Group, shared their text for today Absolutely Not!

Play Ball Tuesday

Good afternoon,

We swam...

...we played ball...

...and we sang...

And Mary said, "My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour".

Luke 1: 46-47

Where Monday

Good afternoon,

And a glorious afternoon it is too.

Today, after swimming...

...we started a new Geometry unit focusing on position. To start with, we read Hairy MacClary Scattercat, discussed how to describe where the cats were...

(fair to say, not my neatest work!)

...and then the children acted out parts of the book, describing where they were relative to the characters' surroundings.

After lunch Blue Group shared their text Secret Soup...

...and we discussed Mary's response to the Annunciation, which in turn became a discussion as to why we give gifts at Christmas.

Bye,

Mr Grant
