Science Fair Thursday

Good afternoon,

This morning the Room 2 Writers visited the A Team's Science Fair. Seeing as I don't have permission to post their photos on the 'net, you'll just have to trust me that Room 2 was there!

Later, the Room 2 Readers (who happen to also be the Room 2 Writers!) witnessed Green Reading Group sharing their text for today, Cake.


(Which also happened to be first video captured on our new camera. The file is much bigger than that produced from the old camera. Much, much bigger. Like, it's still uploading. The colours are much nicer, too.)

To end the day we quickly finished listing what we have learnt over the last 6 weeks about flight...


...tomorrow we will start listing what we want to learn some more about.

New Camera Wednesday

Good afternoon,

Room 2 has just got a new camera. I'm expecting that the improvement over our well used, rather worn out old camera will shine through with the filming of video clips, but in the mean time...


We also discussed the meaning of Privilege, Responsibility and Parish.

We spent a fair bit of today outside.

This afternoon, the children continued to practice asking big questions, and how to know whether the question they are asking is big or small.

Friday's Drag'n On...

Good afternoon,

And what a lovely afternoon it is. It is fun to end the week with a game of tag on the playground!

This morning, since we had our art lesson yesterday (see yesterday's post), after watching our latest Digital Big Book...


...which we will be reading in detail next week (sorry about the sound quality, I'm still figuring out how to make the recording better. There's no hiss when it's being played on the board...), we joined in on Jump Jam with the M Team...


...we started out the questioning part of our Flight inquiry by practicing asking small and big questions.




We'll be continuing to work on this next week.

Foot Paint Thursday

Good afternoon,

As tomorrow is forecast to be wet (and Mrs Clapp couldn't make it anyway!) Room 2 had Friday's art lesson this afternoon. Thankfully, The Lord held off the rain so's we could step outside to, well, step in some paint.








And messy feet were had by all.

Yesterday Blue Reading Group acted out and photographed their book Going to Grandpa's. Enjoy!
